Community Ministry Conference this Saturday

Just a quick reminder that this Saturday is the big Community Ministry Conference.  I’d like to see as many people as possible go to this.  As a church, we need to get involved in meeting the needs of people in our community.  As we meet their physical and emotional needs, we get a chance to talk to them about their real need, which is spiritual.

This conference will introduce us to a number of ministry opportunities, some of which we can use to reach our neighborhoods for Jesus.  There will be seminars on hunger ministries, ministry to prisoners and their families, help for people looking for jobs, foster care, and many other ministries. Here is the information on the conference:

New Hope Community Church

Cost:
$10 before the conference, $15 at the door
(Price includes lunch and materials)

If you can’t afford the price of the conference, or you need a ride, let me (Pastor Richard) know.  We’ll make sure you will get there if you want to!
